By John McCann – Senior Director of Marketing – EMEA, BridgeHead Software

Today is a great day for all of our customers and staff as the globally renowned industry analyst firm, Frost & Sullivan, has recognised BridgeHead Software with its 2016 European Customer Value Leadership Award for Healthcare Content Management. The award acknowledges organisations and their products that demonstrate high levels of customer engagement, satisfaction and loyalty, as well as growth – both organically and within new markets.

What’s particularly good about this award is the endorsement by Frost & Sullivan of our holistic approach to data management in healthcare. BridgeHead’s Independent Clinical Archive, HealthStore, or what Frost & Sullivan refer to as a ‘third generation vendor neutral archive’ or ‘VNA 3.0’, offers a central repository for storing, protecting and sharing all patient and administrative data. It has been successfully deployed across a number of hospitals in Europe, including Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust and Homerton University Hospital NHS Foundation Trust in the UK, as well as a recent implementation with partner Oblak at Saint Georges Hospital in Bulgaria, which is using HealthStore in the Cloud.

Nadim Michel Daher of Frost & Sullivan commented on the award: “Over the last two decades BridgeHead Software has provided the healthcare market with its industry-leading data management solutions. In that time, it has demonstrated a strong track record of successfully deploying software and services to hospitals for data archiving and protection. More recently, with the success it has enjoyed following the introduction of its Independent Clinical Archive, HealthStore, what we refer to as a VNA 3.0, and armed with a deep knowledge and understanding of its customer’s issues, pain points and opportunities, BridgeHead Software has cemented itself as a trusted advisor and one of the very few vendors that can deliver end-to-end healthcare data management solutions.”

At BridgeHead, we strongly believe data is the lifeblood of every healthcare organisation. Data leads to information, which leads to knowledge, which leads to better clinical decisions and patient outcomes. That’s why it’s imperative to ensure we remove silos of data spread throughout healthcare facilities and bring it together where it can be made available to those that need it, when they need it, at the point of care.

To have a respected third party organisation like Frost & Sullivan not just recognise our position, but to present us an award based on the success of our Independent Clinical Archive, HealthStore, within our customer base, is a huge compliment and endorsement of our approach. We’re equally delighted with Frost & Sullivan’s evaluation and prediction of our future growth in the North American healthcare market. All in all, we’re very proud of this award, which we dedicate to all of our staff who work incredibly hard to ensure our customers’ success.
