By John McCann, Senior Director of Marketing, BridgeHead Software

In my new global role, I was delighted to be able to attend the HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition for the first time. It not only offered a great opportunity for BridgeHead to meet with customers and partners, but the conference provided us with the perfect venue to connect with members of the HIMSS community who are interested in hearing all about BridgeHead Software – especially on the media and analyst side. In fact at HIMSS17, we sat down with editors from Imaging Technology News and Healthcare NOW Radio – a member of the Answers Media Network and analysts from Porter Research and Health IMPACT. The discussions ranged from retiring legacy applications to cybersecurity to the challenges when transitioning from old to new EMR systems.

In addition to the conversations had with media and analysts, we also developed several videos with BridgeHead executives (see below) so that we could share some important insights with a broader customer and prospect audience. The videos touch upon some of the previously mentioned themes discussed above along with how BridgeHead’s HealthStore® Independent Clinical Archive helps solve the cost, security, staffing and infrastructure challenges of running obsolete legacy applications as well as the challenges facing hospitals when bringing data in from disparate systems across the enterprise into a holistic view.
