Founded in 1994, BridgeHead Software is a privately owned company that specializes in developing backup and archive software for mid-to-large enterprises. We have designed and developed a modular software system that provides our customers with all the elements they need to satisfy their healthcare data management requirements, from the simple to the most complex.. Our vision and solutions

Our mission is to see a general adoption of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) software across all hospitals so they can simplify and reduce the cost of storing information. Our vision is to become the recognized leader in the healthcare data management market by 2012.

With healthcare data growing exponentially, our need to harness that data and protect it has also grown to the point that we need more than a backup strategy to secure and protect a hospital's information. Simply stated, EDM is where backup and archive technologies meet. A self-protecting archive can relieve the primary backup load by moving static and historical data to a more cost effective, fully indexed data store that does not require further backup. Adding an Enterprise Data Archive system to your Enterprise Backup system not only optimizes that backup, but reduces storage costs, improves data access and ensures all data remains fully protected.
