BridgeHead Software has successfully completed the Integrating the Healthcare Enterprise (IHE) North American Connectathon 2015 held in Cleveland, Ohio with its Healthcare Data Management (HDM) Solution, which incorporate its HealthStore® vendor neutral archive (VNA). The annual Connectathon event demonstrates the benefits of interoperability of health information systems as they work together to share information across organisational boundaries.

BridgeHead Software’s XDS repository and registry were tested against the XDS.b and XDS.i.b standards – which seeks to demonstrate enterprise wide healthcare collaborative potential for both images and patient data. The systems were tested against multiple vendors using real-world clinical scenarios.

Speaking about the success, Jamie Clifton, VP Product Management at BridgeHead Software, said: “Our success at the Connectathon demonstrates that BridgeHead Software’s HDM can be trusted to fully integrate and collaborate with other healthcare systems. The rigor and breadth of testing offered by the Connectathon provides an additional level of gravitas to our solutions and further reassurance to our customers.

This follows a continued effort by BridgeHead to actively participate in IHE’s Connectathons and to ensure the ongoing support of healthcare data standards.
