Giving back to the community
BridgeHead Software is committed to helping our local communities and a number of national and international charitable organizations. BridgeHead participates in activities as a company as well as supporting the individual efforts and fundraising initiatives of its employees – often matching personal donations or helping in other ways.
Action Medical Research
BridgeHead has been a long-time supporter of Action Medical Research, a UK-based children’s charity that, for over 70 years, has funded and carried out medical research tackling childhood diseases. Action Medical Research has helped to beat polio, fight meningitis, prevent stillbirths and develop ultrasound scanning in pregnancy, helping to save thousands of children’s lives. Spring into Fitness
BridgeHead’s internal, annual ‘Spring into Fitness’ six-week challenge encourages our staff to stay active, healthy, and happy through various activities like walking, cycling, yoga, dancing, or even cleaning. Each year, we select eight charities, nominated by our employees, to receive a donation. This successful program, designed to promote wellness and offer local community support, has become a mainstay of BridgeHead’s charitable activities and receives large participation from staff.
Jimmy Fund
BridgeHead is a proud supporter of North American-based charity, the Jimmy Fund, whose fundraising events contribute to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s mission to provide patient care and groundbreaking cancer research for children and adults and their families. Thanks to the generosity of donors, the Jimmy Fund has saved countless lives and continues to reduce the burden of cancer for patients and families. Boys and Girls Club of Woburn
The Boys and Girls Club of Woburn, a local charity located close to BridgeHead’s North American office in Boston, strives to inspire all youth to find their greatness. BridgeHead recently supported the charity through its “adopt a family for Christmas” program. BridgeHead staff provided gifts and money for our adopted family so that they were able to enjoy the holiday.
