Harrison Memorial Hospital (HMH) wanted to create a 360-degree view of all patient information available to clinicians and support staff, at the point of care, all available through its newly upgraded MEDITECH 6.15 Electronic Health Record (EHR) solution. However, after HMH acquired six regional primary physician practices and, with them, six additional ambulatory electronic medical record systems, it recognized it would have to overcome a number of challenges to achieve its vision.
